I understand how challenging life can be and strongly believe that everyone deserves to experience a warm and safe space to share about their life, seek healing, and grow. My goal is to create just that: a nonjudgmental place where we can build trust and work collaboratively to help you pursue your best life. I strive to create a relationship that is built on mutual respect, empathy, and safety.

I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches, such as family systems, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I believe every individual has unique strengths and seek to create a tailored environment where your individuality can shine. I also draw from a somatic orientation and enjoy helping clients cultivate awareness of how our bodies experience emotions and trauma. I am dedicated to seeing clients through a holistic lens and honor their diversity by taking ethnicity, culture, race, sexual orientation, ability status, gender, and religion into thoughtful and in-depth consideration.

I enjoy working with individuals facing life transitions, whether that be starting college, getting a new job, adjusting to a disability, or welcoming a child. I have a special passion for working with individuals who are in the perinatal period, from those who are trying to conceive to those who are pregnant or postpartum. I also enjoy working with parents and caregivers of kids of all ages.

I am an NC native, born and raised in the Charlotte area. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Colby College in 2014 and worked as a public school teacher and as the assistant to a school psychologist for 7 years. Through these experiences I witnessed the importance of access to high quality mental health services for children and their families. My desire to do more inspired me to pursue a career in the mental health field. I graduated with my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2024. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work and volunteer in a range of settings, including schools, community-based mental health programs, prisons, and hospitals. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (#697499) and have experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in trauma-informed care and have experience working with individuals with a history of trauma and/or abuse. In my free time, I love spending time outside, spending time with my 2 kids and husband, cooking, traveling, and reading. I enjoy working with families as well as individuals ranging in age from adolescents (13-19), young adults (19-24), to adults (24+).

I look forward to working with you!
